The appreciation for the priceless gift of education is written all over Josephine’s face.  Maintaining continuous enrollment in school  is a daunting challenge for many children in Liberia.  Josephine was promoted to tenth grade and still looks forward to becoming a nurse one day.  She continues to live with her mother. She told Girl Power Africa “my parents don’t have money to send us all to school”. Her interests are cooking and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
