ALFORD: S15-DUA
November
2024
Alfred was not promoted to the 11th grade last year, but unfortunately, he had to repeat it this year. His family faced many challenges, and Alfred had to take on a significant amount of work to help support them by selling in the market. This demanding responsibility made it difficult for him to attend school regularly, which affected his academic progress. Despite this setback, Alfred remains determined to succeed. He loves playing football and continues to dream of joining the army when he grows up. Alfred is a very hardworking young man, and his dedication to both his family and his education is truly admirable. We are very proud of him and the resilience he continues to show as he works toward his goals. Sponsored by: Katherine J. Anderson

20-year-old Alford was promoted to eleventh grade. Seven years of scholarship support has given Alford the confidence of believing his dream of becoming a lawyer will be actualized one day. Alford continues to live with his mother. His twin brother, Adolphus (S16-DUA), is his best friend and they like to compete on who gets the best grades and who is the best soccer player.
