Adolphus is 23 years old and is graduating from high school this year, marking the end of his incredible journey with Girl Power Africa, which began in 2017. He and his twin brother have faced immense challenges growing up in a very poor household, yet through determination and hard work, they have both persevered to reach this milestone. Adolphus is the first in his family to graduate from high school, a testament to his resilience, focus, and the opportunities made possible by his sponsors. This year has been especially difficult for Adolphus and his family. Over the summer, their home burned down, and they lost everything. Despite this devastating loss, Adolphus has continued to push forward, determined to graduate and build a brighter future. His dedication to school, his passion for learning, and his unbreakable spirit have been truly inspiring. We are so proud of Adolphus and his twin brother for reaching this significant achievement. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the sponsors who have supported them over the years—you made this possible. Adolphus is deeply grateful for your generosity, and his graduation is a celebration of hope, perseverance, and the power of education. Sponsored by: Tera Reese-Beisbier

Adolphus did not pass to the 11th grade last year but unfortunately had to repeat it this year. He faced many challenges, particularly due to the excessive work at home, which made it difficult for him to attend school regularly. Despite these challenges, Adolphus remains determined to succeed. He is passionate about soccer and enjoys playing in his free time, showing his love for sports and teamwork. Though his path has been tough, Adolphus is a very hard-working and dedicated student who is focused on graduating high school. We are proud of his resilience and the effort he is putting into his education this year. Sponsored by: Tera Reese-Beisbier

Adolphus continues to live with his mother and enjoys playing soccer in his neighborhood while also helping his mother care for his younger siblings. His twin brother, Alford (S15-DUA), is his best friend and they like to compete on who gets the best grade and who is the best soccer player. Sponsored by: General Funds
