January 2024: Ruth is a forty year old mother living with her husband and caring for six children.  Ruth’s husband provided for his family through farming.  He has been struggling with a protracted illness and unable to continue with the farming activities.  Ruth  requested a business development grant to enable her open a baking business.  She will bake and sell bread out of her home to earn money to sustain her family.
