PRINCESS: S1082-GBA

Princess returned for her 2025 school registration and proudly shared that she passed the 1st grade and has been promoted to the 2nd grade. She reported that she improved in her lessons last year and feels happy about going back to school. Princess lives with her mother and says her mother motivates her to keep learning. She shared that Girl Power Africa supports her by helping her stay in school, especially after the loss of her uncle and in an accident a few months ago. Her goal for this school year is to study hard so she can be promoted again, and in the future she hopes to use her education to become courageous and help other students. Princess is 10 years old and is in the first grade. She lives with her single mother and her five siblings. Despite the struggles she faces, Princess dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up. Four years ago, her father abandoned the family, and they have not heard from him since. Her mother works hard to take care of the children, but they face financial difficulties.
