January 2024: Thirty-two-year-old Menkapoh’s dream of completing high school came to a halt when she became pregnant, and her strict parents put her out of their home.  She went to live with her friend’s family and could not continue her schooling because she now had to provide for her own child.  Now, with two children, she does subsistence farming.  Menkapoh looks forward owning her own business and was happy to receive an economic empowerment grant to start her baking business.
