Meet Melvin, a bright and determined 10-year-old who is in the first grade. Melvin’s mother, overwhelmed by the responsibility of caring for a large family after the death of her husband, entrusted him to his aunt in hopes of giving him a better chance at life. However, his aunt also has many children of her own and struggles to make ends meet, leaving her unable to provide for Melvin’s education. Despite these challenges, Melvin has always held onto his dream of becoming a teacher. He loves the idea of one day standing in front of a classroom, helping other children learn and grow. Melvin is grateful for the opportunity to attend school now and takes his education very seriously. His resilience and determination shine through, and he hopes that with hard work and support, he can achieve his dream and make a difference in the lives of others. Sponsored by:
