January 2024: Forty seven year old Lucy makes a living for her two children through subsistence farming.  Lucy explained she almost graduated from high school but got pregnant and had to drop out of school to provide for her child.  She had hoped to be able to send her children to school but they are now grown subsistence farmers and have their own children.  Lucy is determined to earn enough to construct a home for her growing extended family and asked GPA for assistance to expand her farming efforts.  She was given a farming supplies package.
