Hanna, an eleven-year-old 4th grader, had been on the Girl Power Africa waiting list for nearly four years. When she heard that the organization was distributing aid near her home, she walked two hours each way to reach the distribution center, hoping to find out if she was sponsored. Unfortunately, upon arrival, she learned that she had not been sponsored this year, and she went home in tears. The next morning, determined and hopeful, she walked another two hours to the center and asked if they could help her go to school. Hanna expressed her dream of becoming a doctor, emphasizing that time was slipping away. She lives with her father and is determined to achieve her goal. Sponsored by: Kage Haeck
