Cooper: S752-GBA

Thirteen year old Cooper lives with his parents and four siblings in Gbapa. Cooper is in fifth grade and his favorite activity is playing football with his friends.  The older a child gets, the more they can comprehend family hardship situations.  Cooper’s parents are subsistence farmers…barely able to feed their children and provide a roof over their heads. They are committed to sending their children to school. At thirteen years old, making it to fifth grade is a big deal for Cooper.  Many of his friends had to drop out of school because their parents could not afford school fees.  Cooper was worried about his parent’s ability to pay his school fees this year.  Thanks to GPA for providing a safety net for Cooper and his parents. Sponsored by: Todd Svanda
