Catherine lives with her single mother and six siblings in Gehwee.  Catherine wants to be a medical doctor.  At ten years old and just in second grade, Catherine hopes to get a double promotion to push her closer to her age-appropriate grade level.  She is very determined.  Her mother does subsistence farming, barely able to provide a daily meal for her family.  The family is thankful for the support which places them one step closer to escape the generational cycle of poverty. Sponsored by: Renee & Tony Frey
