Yei is a 60-year-old widow who lives in Gehwee, Liberia. Yei and her husband had been raising their grandchildren whose mother had died during the Ebola epidemic in Liberia. Unfortunately, Yei’s husband who had been sick for the past few years passed away 2 months ago. She had come to Girl Power to give her a business to help sustain she and her grandchildren. Thanks for the generous donations from Ann Milne, Yei will be restarting her fresh palm wine business.
