Imagine having to drop out of school at the age of 17 to help take care of your disabled siblings…. that’s what this girl had to do. Princess Tokpah is a 17-year-old lady who dropped out of school to assist her mother with her 4 disabled brothers. Princess told Girl Power that she wakes up around 3 am each day to bake cookies to sell which she uses a total of 300LD ($2 USD), and she makes 60 cents profit which the family uses for food. Thanks for the generous donations from Sandy Prestine, Princess will continue to bake and sell cookies at a higher quantity. Her dream is to be able to go back to school and become a teacher someday.
