Kou is 64 years old and lives in Gehwee, Liberia. In 2014, Kou lost both her son and her brother to Ebola. Kou is raising 3 of her son’s children whom are ages 7, 5 and 4 years old. She is also raising 2 of her brother’s children. Kou told Girl Power, “ah nah ben ezy on me n leh chilren oh”. (It has not been easy on me and the children).
