Kou is a 37-year-old widowed mother with 5 children who lives in Sannequillie, Liberia and has never been to school.  Currently, Kou sells palm wine for someone by walking the streets of Sannequillie from 7AM to about 5PM. After selling, she is paid 150LD (75 cents USA) for the day; which she and her children use for food.  Thanks to the generous donation from Maureen Rowe, Kou will be selling food in the local market to help support her family. Thank you for giving Kou and her family a hand up.
