ESTHER: E377-DUA

June 2022:  Sixty-two-year-old Esther is a victim of abuse. Her husband
physically and verbally abused her for years and eventually forced her out of their
home.  She is trying to reclaim her life and now live with her younger brother and
his family.  Two of her five children live with their father and the other three are
young adults working on their own.  Her children’s income cannot extend to care
for their mother, and Esther is thankful for the donation of a business development
Empowerment Package, which she will use to open a small market enterprise in
her brother’s home. A donation from Girl Power Africa’s General Funds has given
Esther a hand up.
