Big News!

We love great news!!! We’ve been working on getting Girl Power’s non-profit approval here in Liberia behind the scenes; as we found out that having both countries (Liberia and America) non profit approvals would help to raise funds from both countries.

We Just received a call from our Liberia lawyer letting us to know that Girl Power Liberia, now known as GIRL POWER AFRICA, INC. request for nonprofit status has been APPROVED effective today! 

What does this means for …us? It means, while we are waiting on our 501c3 approval from the USA, we can apply for and receive grants here in Liberia from organizations such as United Nations Development Program, Friends of Liberia, USAID, UNICEF, American Embassy here in Liberia, UNHCR, World Health Program (WHO), World Food Programs (WFO) and many, many more… mostly online applications.

CONGRATULATIONS to each and every one of YOU! We are off to something great!
