June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Blessing was promoted to the 2nd grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Vy, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.

2018:  Meet Blessing Paye, who has been generously sponsored by Vy Duong.  She is 11 years old and in the 1st grade this year.  Blessing lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her mother, who is an unemployed single lady with 5 children. Bleesing told Girl Power Africa: “My mom is suffering with us. My Pa leave us because he he said we too planty”.  Her interests are helping her mom and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
