September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Pam Albi, William has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. He was promoted to the 1st grade this year and still wants to be a builder when he grows up. He continues to live with his grandmother.
September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Pam Albi, William has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. He is in the k-2 grade this year and still wants to be a builder when he grows up. He continues to live with his grandmother.
2019: Meet William, who has been generously sponsored by Dan and Brookh Lyons. He is 8 years old and is in the K1 this year. William lives in New Yekepa, Liberia with his grandmother. After the death of William’s mother 2 years ago, his grandmother took all 4 of her daughter’s children to raise. Unfortunately, the grandmother is unemployed and has not been able to afford to send William and his siblings to school. He hopes to be a builder when he grows up.
