WILLIAM: S1072-GBE

William is 11 years old and was promoted to Kindergarten 2 (K2) this year. He is adjusting well to his new class and shared that his favorite subject is science, where he enjoys learning about the world around him and discovering how things work. William’s journey has not been an easy one. His mother tragically passed away during childbirth when he was just 2 years old. After her passing, William’s aunt took him in with the hope of sending him to school. However, with five children of her own, she was unable to afford school for William without support. When asked who motivates him, William sweetly replied, “my sponsor.” This support has given him hope and encouragement to continue his education and believe in himself. Despite the challenges he has faced at such a young age, William remains optimistic and focused on his future. He continues to dream of becoming a police officer one day so he can help protect others and serve his community.  Sponsored by: Lisa Jordee
