Victoria has advanced to the fourth grade, and one of her favorite aspects of participating in Girl Power Africa and attending school is the chance to dress neatly. According to her teacher, she not only looks great but also excels academically and demonstrates consistent respect in class.

Meet eight-year-old Victoria, she lives with her parents and three siblings.  She’s the youngest in her family and is in the second grade.  When she is not in school, she helps her parents on the farm.  Her parents are subsistence farmers and depends upon income generated from selling the crops to sustain their family.  Victoria wants to be a police officer when she grows up and is thankful for the gift of a scholarship.
