Her favorite subject is math and she loves to solve math problems in front of the class on the chalkboard. Sunday received a double promotion and is now in the 2nd grade! Thanks to the generous donation from Phil Vasby. She is a hard worker and determined to succeed. She says she wakes up excited to go to school each day. Sunday was full of smiles and giggles during our interview. She still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Her parents are extremely grateful for this opportunity for Sunday. They see her growth and the change it is making. Sunday still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Meet Sunday, who has been generously sponsored by Katy Anderson. She is 9 years old and is going to school for the first time this year in ABC. She lives in Beagonpa, Liberia with her parents. Sunday’s father is a rubber tapper with a monthly income of $40. The family can not afford to send her to school. Her interests are helping her mom and she hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
