We are absolutely thrilled about Suah’s achievements this year! She has been promoted to the twelfth grade, and we couldn’t be prouder. Her dedication and hard work have truly paid off, and we are excited to see her reach this milestone. Suah continues to live with her mother and remains steadfast in her dream of becoming a doctor one day. We are grateful for another year of school for Suah, thanks to the sponsorship of sponsor’s name. With her determination, we have no doubt she will continue to shine brightly in the future.

Suah was promoted to eleventh grade! She is proud of her achievement to be a junior in high school. During our interview, she said “I know my Dad is proud too”. Continuous school enrollment is a challenging journey for children like Suah, whose parents cannot afford to send them to school. A child graduating from high school positions a family to break the generational cycle of poverty that plagues many of Liberia’s families. Suah still wants to be a doctor and live with his mother. Thanks to the generous donation from Carla Baumgartner, Suah has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 9th grade this year and likes to play kickball. She still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. With less than 500 doctors serving a population of 4.5 million people, Liberian households often experience fatalities due to treatable illnesses. Children aspiring to become doctors is a worthy cause. We are honored to walk alongside Suah on her journey of becoming a doctor.

Meet Suah, who has been generously sponsored by Maureen & Sarah Rowe. She is 15 years old and in the 7th grade this year. She lives in Duazon, Liberia with her mother. Suah’s father, who has been helping her to go to school, has recently passed away. The family needed assistance from Girl Power to continue her education. She hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
