Sannie has been promoted to the sixth grade this year, and she continues to shine brightly in school. Her principal describes her as a very, very good student and one of the leaders among her peers. She remains attentive in class, eager to learn, and always ready to participate. Although she is still living in the same challenging conditions at home, Sannie’s determination has not changed. She continues to make the most of every opportunity she receives, grateful for the support that allows her to stay in school. Her education remains very important to her and her family, who depend on farming and have limited resources. Sannie still holds onto her dream of building a better future through education, and she remains deeply thankful for the help that makes her schooling possible. Sponsored by: Anonymous Donor

Sannie has just been promoted to the fifth grade, with social studies being her favorite subject. Her teacher praises her for always being attentive and eager to answer questions in class. Since joining the program over three years ago, her life has transformed—she has received books, shoes, a school bag, and assistance with school fees. Grateful for these opportunities, Sannie dreams of becoming a police officer once she completes her education. Because her parents are farmers, she is especially thankful for the support that keeps her in school. In her own words, she says, “Thank you so much for your support; it truly means the world to me.” Sponsored by: Brittany Meyers

Sannie was promoted to the 3rd grade and has been re-enrolled into school for the 2022/2023 school year. Her two favorite subjects are math and recess. Sannie was in great spirits during her interview with us and was extremely grateful for this scholarship opportunity. She still wants to be a teacher when she grows up and continues to live with her mother. Sponsored by: Lori Fischer Hall

Meet Sannie, who has been generously sponsored by Lori Fischer Hall. She is 7 years old and in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Gbeleyee Town, Liberia with her mother. Her father is a traveling businessman who would come to Sannie’s hometown every week. He and Sannie’s mom had 3 children over a 6-year period. He’s been gone for a year now and Sannie’s family have no idea of his whereabout. Sannie’s mother is unemployed and having a difficult time supporting her family. Sannie’s interests are playing with her friends and she isn’t sure what she wants to be when she grows up.
