Secret received a double promotion from the 4th grade to the 6th grade this year, a testament to her hard work and dedication to her studies. Social studies is her favorite subject, and her passion for learning shines through in her excellent performance. This year, Secret was voted her class president, a role that she has taken on with great responsibility. Her teacher describes her as a wonderful student—hardworking and committed to her lessons—though she is a bit shy. Despite the challenges she faces at home, Secret continues to thrive in school and excel academically. Thanks to the generous donation from Todd Schliesman, Secret has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020/2021 school year.  Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021/2022 school year. Secret was kept in her current grade level of 2^nd grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her parents and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up

Meet Secret, who has been generously sponsored by Todd Schliesman. She is 10 years old and is in the 2nd grade this year. She lives in Sopea, Liberia with both of her parents.  According to the school administration, she is brilliant and serious about her education. However, her parents have 8 children and could not afford to send her to school on a regular basis. Her interests are reading, and she hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
