REJOYCE: S973-SEC
October
2025
This year, we were unable to meet with Rejoyce during school registration, as they were either out of town, sick, or facing circumstances that prevented them from attending. Even so, their school fees were paid, and all of their school materials were given to the school staff to ensure they receive everything as soon as they return. Because the student was not present on registration day, we were unable to take an updated photo for 2025. Thank you for your understanding and continued support—it truly makes a difference in their life.

Rejoice is a 13-year-old student in the third grade, living with her aunt due to her mother’s disability. Her mother has been unable to provide for Rejoice and her siblings, which is why each of them lives with different family members. Despite these challenges, Rejoice is an incredibly hardworking and determined young girl. Rejoice dreams of becoming a doctor one day, and her dedication to her studies reflects her ambition. She is focused on her education and determined to make a better life for herself and her family. Her teachers have praised her for her commitment to her lessons, and her positive attitude has earned her admiration from those around her. After school, Rejoice helps her aunt with cooking at home. She takes on responsibilities with a strong work ethic, demonstrating maturity and resilience. Rejoice is a wonderful example of someone who, despite facing hardships, continues to strive for success with hope and determination. We are proud to have Rejoice in the Girl Power Africa program and excited to see her accomplish her dreams of becoming a doctor one day. Sponsored by: Gregory Kruger
