Pauline was unable to pass the eighth grade this year, as she faced significant challenges during the school year. She became pregnant and was unable to complete her studies at that time. However, Pauline has shown remarkable determination and resilience by returning to school. Although she was unable to attend the school distribution this year, her school principal shared that Pauline is doing extremely well and is highly focused on her education. Even as a young mother, she is committed to her studies and determined to achieve her academic goals. Pauline’s strength and perseverance are an inspiration to those around her. Pauline has advanced to the eighth grade while still participating in her school choir, holding onto her dream of becoming a lawyer in the future. She remains in the care of her aunt, navigating the responsibilities of an 18-year-old. Before school, Pauline takes on the role of cooking breakfast for her family, and after classes, she immerses herself in selling lapas, traditional African skirts worn by women daily.
Balancing her academic pursuits with her entrepreneurial endeavors, Pauline exemplifies hard work and dedication both in and out of school. Her commitment to her studies and her family’s well-being is commendable, and we take pride in her achievements and perseverance. Sponsored by: Bernadette Maurice
