PATRICIA: S697-ZOR

September 2021:  Thanks to the generous donation from Stephen Bablitch, Patricia has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020/2021 school year.  Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021/2022 school year. Patricia was kept in her current grade level of K1 grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her mother and still wants to be a farmer when she grows up.

September 2020: Meet Patricia, who has been generously sponsored by an Anonymous donor (Mohamad). She is 6 years old and is in the K-1 grade this year. She lives in Zorgowee, Liberia with her mother. Patricia’s father went to another city in search of employment about 2 years ago and has not returned. Her unemployed mother is having a diffitcult time supporting she and her children.  Patricia’s interests are helping her mother make garden and she hopes to be a farmer when she grows up.
