Patience has been promoted to the eighth grade and remains under the care of her aunt. Although she is reserved, Patience is an excellent student, known for her intelligence and dedication. After school, she hurries home to take on the responsibility of preparing dinner for her family, including her young cousins, as her aunt is often at work.
One of Patience’s favorite dishes is cassava leaf soup. Cassava leaf soup is a traditional West African dish made from the leaves of the cassava plant. These leaves are cooked with various seasonings and often combined with meat or fish to create a flavorful and nutritious meal.
Despite her busy schedule, Patience continues to nurture her dream of becoming a doctor one day. Her determination to pursue this career path reflects her commitment to making a positive impact on the health and well-being of others. Sponsored by: Megan Unger
