Patience is the president of her class!  She was promoted to seventh grade and now live with her aunt.  The circumstances of why she moved from her parent’s house to her aunt’s household is not clear, but Patience is thriving and doing well in school.  She still wants to be a doctor one day. Patience has been generously re-sponsored by Megan Unger. She is 13 years old and was promoted to the 3rd grade this year. Patience lives in Gbapa, Liberia with her parents. She told Girl Power, “my parents are poor. They don’t have money to send us to school”. To help provide for her family she’s started a small business selling fruits and candy.

Meet Patricia, who has been generously sponsored by Megan Unger. She is 12 years old and in the 2nd grade this year.  She lives in Gbapa, Liberia with her parents who are both unemployed and could not afford to send their children to school. Her interests are going fishing and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
