ORETHA: S1042-ZOR

Dretha passed to K-2 this year and continues to show joy and enthusiasm for learning while living with both of her parents, who struggle financially. She shared that she feels very happy to be back in school and is motivated by her mother’s encouragement. Dretha dreams of becoming a police officer one day and is grateful for GPA’s support with school supplies and fees, which allows her to remain in school and enter her new grade with confidence.

Oretha is 6 years old and is in Kindergarten 1 this year. She lives with her mother and her six siblings. Three years ago, their father abandoned the family, and since then, there has been no word from him. Despite the challenges, Oretha remains hopeful and dreams of becoming a pilot one day.
