Nancy has been promoted from first grade to second grade this year and is doing extremely well in school. She is hardworking and also participates in the choir at her church, showing her dedication both in and outside the classroom. After school, Nancy helps her family by drawing water from the creek, washing dishes, and cleaning both inside and outside the house each day. Despite her busy schedule, she remains committed to her studies and is extremely grateful for the opportunity to attend school. Nancy’s determination and gratitude make her a shining example for her classmates and a source of pride for her teachers

Nancy is 10 years old and currently in the first grade. She dreams of a brighter future despite the challenges she faces at home. When Nancy’s mother discovered she was pregnant with her, Nancy’s father disowned the pregnancy and has never been a part of her life. Nancy’s mother is a small-scale farmer, working tirelessly to support Nancy and her three siblings. Despite her efforts, it has been a constant struggle to provide for the family and ensure the children get an education. Nancy feels incredibly fortunate to have the chance to attend school this year. Her determination and gratitude fuel her desire to learn and make a difference for her family.
