MARY: S1038-GBL

Mary is eight years old and in the first grade. She lives with her grandmother, who took her in after her mother passed away during childbirth two years ago. Shortly after, her father had a heart attack and also passed away. Mary’s grandmother, although caring and loving, is unemployed and struggles to provide enough for Mary and the family. Because of their financial difficulties, she is unable to send Mary to school regularly, but Mary continues to show resilience and dreams of a better future. Sponsored by:
