MARSHALL: S1047-FLO

Marshall is 13 years old and is currently in third grade. Math is his favorite subject, and his teacher reported that he is performing well academically. He shared that Girl Power Africa’s support with school fees and supplies has helped him stay focused and continue his education. Marshall feels good about being in school and is working hard toward promotion. He lives with his aunt and uncle and hopes to one day become a police officer so he can help protect his community. Marshall is 12 years old and currently in the 2nd grade. Due to financial hardships, his mother, who has four children, was unable to support them all and entrusted Marshall to her brother to raise him. However, his uncle, with five children of his own, struggled to afford sending Marshall to school. Despite these challenges, Marshall is determined and dreams of becoming a soldier when he grows up.
