Meet Linda, who has been generously sponsored by Scott Heise. She is 9 years old and is in the 2nd grade this year. Linda lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her grandmother. Linda’s parents went to the gold mines in search of gold to come back and give their daughter a better life. However, since they left about 18 months ago, they have not been heard from. Linda and her grandmother are hopeful that they are alive. However, they are worried that they may had been among the people who the gold mind clasped on and buried alive when they were digging for gold. Her interests are helping her grandmother and she hope to be a teacher when she grows up.
