Kou is a determined and ambitious 9-year-old girl currently in the Kindergarten-2 class. She lives in a small farming community with her parents, who work hard to support their family of nine children. Despite their struggles to afford regular schooling for their children, Kou holds on to her dream of becoming a teacher one day. Her aspiration to educate and inspire others stems from her understanding of the importance of learning and the opportunities it creates.
