Kindness is now 11 years old and was promoted to the second grade this year! After previously struggling with attendance due to family responsibilities, she has shown determination to stay focused on her education. Her hard work is beginning to show, and she is making steady progress in school. She shared that her favorite subject this year is math. She enjoys working with numbers and learning new problem-solving skills in the classroom. Even though she continues to live in the same challenging conditions, Kindness remains committed to improving her studies and building a better future for herself. Her perseverance through difficult circumstances reflects her strength and growing confidence as a student. Thanks to the generous donation from Joyce Jorgensen, Kindness has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K-2 grade this year and still wants to be a mechanic when she grows up. She continues to live with her grandmother.

Meet Kindness, who has been generously sponsored by Joyce Jorgensen on behalf of the estate of Dennis Valstad. She is 6 years old and is in the K-1 grade this year. She lives in Sehyi Geh, Liberia with her grandmother. The mother became paralyzed because of complications during childbirth and is unable to care for the children. Her interests are fixing cars and motorbikes and she hopes to be a mechanic when she grows up.
