Thanks to the generous donation from Victoria Hay, Kenekah has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020-2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021-2022 school year. Kenekah was kept in her current grade level of K-2 grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her grandmother and still wants to be a nurse when she grows up.

Meet Kenekah, who has been generously sponsored by Amy Garvoille. She is a 9 year old orphan and is in the K-2 grade this year. She lives in Sehkimpa, Liberia with her grandmother. Kenekah lost both of her parents about 4 years ago and has been living with her unemployed grandmother who could not afford to send Kenekah and her siblings to school on regular basis. Her interests are helping her grandmother and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
