Thanks to the generous donation from Phil Vasby, Kema has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K-2 grade this year. She stays late after school to help clean the classroom. She still wants to be a tailor when she grows up. She continues to live with her father.

Meet Kema, who has been generously sponsored by Phil Vasby. She is 8 years old and is in K-1 this year. She lives in Gbobayee, Liberia with her father. Her mother abandoned the family when she was three and her father does not have a job and cannot afford to support his family. Her interests are dressing nice and she hopes to be a tailor when she grows up.
