JUNIOR: S29-GEH

Junior is now 15 years old and continues to attend school with determination. This year, he did not pass the third grade and will need more time at this level. Although this was disappointing, Junior has not given up. He keeps showing up each day with courage and a willingness to keep learning. Junior lives with a disability that brings daily challenges, but he handles himself with maturity. He takes care to stay neat and present himself with pride, showing how much, he has grown. His efforts reflect his desire to be independent and confident. In the past, Junior often faced teasing and doubt from others in his community, with some believing he would not succeed. Today, that story is changing. He has made friends at school, and his confidence has grown noticeably. He smiles more, engages with others, and carries himself with greater self-assurance. Junior still holds onto his dream of becoming a police officer one day. His resilience, progress, and positive spirit continue to inspire those around him. Sponsored by: Anonymous

He attends school daily with resilience, striving to prove everyone wrong about his abilities. Meet Junior, who has been generously sponsored by Amanda Drake. He is 8 years old and is going to school for the very first time. Junior lives in Gehwee, Liberia with his mother. According to the school, Junior goes to the school campus everyday and sits by the classroom. Because his mom could not afford to buy him school uniforms and pay for his tuition, he was not allowed to enter. Junior is all smiles knowing that he’s going to be sitting in the classroom with the rest of the students this year! He will be in ABC this year and his interests are learning and playing with friends. He hopes to be a police officer when he grows up.
