John, a 13-year-old boy in Kindergarten-2 this year, has waited patiently on the Girl Power Africa sponsorship list for four years. His perseverance paid off, and he is now beyond grateful for the opportunity to go to school. John’s journey has been challenging. Five years ago, his father tragically passed away in a hunting accident, leaving his life in turmoil. Fortunately, his grandmother took him in, but her lack of employment made it impossible to send John to school.
