JANET: S1019-KIA

2025
This year, we were unable to meet with Janet during school registration, as they were either out of town, sick, or facing circumstances that prevented them from attending. Even so, their school fees were paid, and all of their school materials were given to the school staff to ensure they receive everything as soon as they return. Because the student was not present on registration day, we were unable to take an updated photo for 2025. Thank you for your understanding and continued support—it truly makes a difference in their life. Sponsored by: Anonymous

Janet is a 9-year-old girl in the 1st grade, full of dreams and curiosity about the world around her. She lives with her parents, who are both unemployed, and her two siblings. Unfortunately, due to their financial struggles, Janet’s family has been unable to send all three children to school regularly. Despite these challenges, Janet remains eager to learn and is determined to make the most of the education she can get. Janet has big dreams for the future, and when asked about her aspirations, she says she hopes to become a soldier. What draws her to this profession are the uniforms they wear, which she admires. To her, the soldier’s clothes represent something strong and important, a symbol of pride and service that she wants to be part of. While her family’s financial situation may limit her opportunities, Janet’s spirit is not diminished. She holds onto the hope that one day, she will be able to pursue her dream, wear the uniform she admires, and have a meaningful role in the world. Her resilience and determination shine through, even in the face of adversity. Sponsored by: Pam Albi
