Irene is 14 years old and lives with her aunt. Her mother passed away when Irene was just an infant, leaving her aunt as her primary caregiver. Her aunt used to run a store, but unfortunately, the store was burned down and there was no insurance, which has left her aunt struggling to make ends meet. Because of this, Irene’s aunt is unable to afford to send her and the other children to school regularly.
