HENSON: S929-SAN

Henson is 9 years old and is currently in first grade. Math is his favorite subject, and he proudly shared that he can now write clearly and feels more confident in class. He lives with his uncle, as his parents are currently unable to care for him. Henson shared that Girl Power Africa’s support with school fees, supplies, and shoes has helped him remain in school. Henson is 8 years old and is in Kindergarten 2. He lives with both of his parents, who are small farmers. His family has a large household, including eight children of their own and other relatives’ children. Unfortunately, their income is not enough to support all of them, making it difficult to meet everyone’s needs. Henson’s favorite subject is English, but his strongest grades are in math, where he excels.
