GRACIOUS: S1075-GBE

Gracious is 10 years old and was promoted to the third grade this year. She continues to show dedication to her education, and her teacher shared that Gracious is very hardworking and committed in class. Her promotion reflects both her effort and her determination to succeed despite the challenges she faces at home. Gracious lives with her disabled single mother and her three siblings. Because her mother is unable to work, Gracious carries significant responsibilities each day. Every morning before school, she fetches about five gallons of water to leave for her mother and younger siblings. After school, she returns to collect another eight gallons of water to help her mother cook for the family. Despite her heavy responsibilities, Gracious remains focused on her studies and hopeful about her future. She continues to dream of becoming a teacher one day so she can help educate and inspire other children in her community. Gracious is deeply grateful for the opportunity to attend school, and with continued support, she is working hard to build a brighter future for herself and her family.
