Grace is a hopeful and determined 12-year-old girl who is currently in the third grade. Her journey has not been easy, but her spirit remains strong. Because her mother could not afford to care for all of her children, Grace was sent to live with her aunt. While her aunt welcomed her with love, she already has many children of her own and has struggled to provide school fees and materials for everyone. As a result, Grace has not been able to attend school regularly. Despite these challenges, Grace has held tightly to her dreams. She hopes to become a nurse one day so she can care for people who are sick and bring comfort to those in need. When we asked her favorite subject, she smiled and said, “Science.” It is the subject that excites her the most and brings her closer to the dream she carries in her heart. Grace is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return to school this year. She understands how precious education is, especially when it has not always been guaranteed. She is ready to work hard, stay focused, and make the most of this new beginning. To her sponsor, thank you for giving Grace the gift of education.
