Glayee is now 12 years old and was promoted to the third grade this year. Her favorite subject is English, and she continues to impress her teachers with her focus, curiosity, and hard work in class. Glayee lives with her father, who works tirelessly to support the family of five on a very limited income. When asked what motivates her, Glayee said it is her father’s hard work that inspires her to do her best in school—she wants to one day achieve something meaningful for him and make him proud. Despite the challenges her family faces, Glayee approaches her studies with determination and a positive attitude. She dreams of becoming a doctor, and every day she works toward that goal with dedication and perseverance. Glayee is extremely grateful for the opportunity to attend school through the Girl Power Africa program and takes full advantage of every lesson. Her resilience, ambition, and love for learning make her a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work and support. We are proud of Glayee and excited to see her continue to grow and succeed.

Glayee is a bright and determined 11-year-old student in the second grade. She currently lives with her father, who works hard to support his four children on a monthly income of just $75. Unfortunately, the financial strain has made it difficult for Glayee to attend school regularly, but despite these challenges, she continues to show a strong desire to learn and succeed. Glayee dreams of becoming a doctor one day, a goal that reflects her dedication and commitment to improving her life and helping others. She has a passion for learning, and even though her circumstances are tough, she remains focused on her education and is determined to overcome any obstacles in her path. We are honored to have Glayee as part of the Girl Power Africa program and are inspired by her resilience. Her dream of becoming a doctor is a powerful reminder of the potential that every child holds, regardless of their situation. We are proud to support her journey and excited to see the great things she will achieve in the future. Sponsored by: Ann De Broux
