FENNIE: S1070-GBE

Fennie received a double promotion to the fourth grade this year, and we are very proud of her achievements. She shared that her favorite subjects are math and reading, and her teachers praise her not only for her strong performance in class but also for her willingness to help other students who need assistance with their assignments. Fennie continues to live with her mother and three siblings, and despite the challenges they face, she remains dedicated to her education. She dreams of becoming a police officer one day, and her determination, kindness, and commitment to learning make her a role model among her classmates.

Fennie is 12 years old and is currently in the 2nd grade. She was on the Girl Power Africa waiting list for 3 years. Tragically, Fennie’s father died in a farming accident when a tree fell on him. Since his passing, Fennie lives with her widowed mother and her three siblings. Unfortunately, her mother has struggled to send the children to school due to financial difficulties, and her primary goal each day is to provide at least one meal for her family.
