This year, Felecia is 7 years old and proudly advanced from Grade 1 to Grade 2 after passing her exams. Science is her favorite subject, and she is performing well in class. She feels happy to be back in school and dreams of becoming a class president. Living in a farming household with six children and limited income, her parents struggle to cover school costs. Felicia is six years old and is in the first grade. Her father works as a security guard and earns $125 a month. However, with six children to care for, the family struggles to make ends meet, and they are unable to send all of the children to school regularly. Despite these challenges, Felicia is a helpful and hardworking child. When she’s not at school, she loves to assist her family by selling in the market.
