Meet Favor, she’s eight years old and lives with her single mother and five siblings. Favor wants to be a police officer one day. Her mother is a subsistence farmer and could not afford to send all her children to school. As is the case with many rural families, income from subsistence farming is not adequate to provide much beyond the basics for living: food and shelter. Adequate clothing is a luxury, and the gift of education is often unattainable. Favor and her mother are thankful for the gift of a scholarship. Sponsored by: Donation from General Funds
