Nine-year-old Faith lives with her aunt in Duazon, Liberia and is in the third grade. She attends Duazon Public School and wants to be a doctor one day. Faith’s mother could not afford to send her to school, and she sent her to live with her aunt who is a little better off financially. With her aunt’s own children growing and needing to go to school she could no longer afford to pay Faith’s tuition, supplies, and fees. Faith’s aunt reached out to GPA and Faith was placed on scholarship. Helping the children of Liberia jump through life’s hurdles is what we do best – thanks to our amazing partner support network.
